Step by Step!
On a grey afternoon in the low season we finally found time to take these pictures. You start either at the:
- ...A. Chalong Circle and Rawai Beach or
- ...B. Kata Viewpoint
You can for sure find those! There are signs all over Southern Phuket, or you can ask anyone.
Note! Nowhere you will have to go along obscure hard-to-find dirt roads or similar.
All roads mentioned in this description are asphalt or concrete roads of good quality. Happy driving!

A. Coming from the Chalong Circle...
... you will first go to Rawai Beach. (There already? Skip to picture 3).

From the Chalong circle you will after some kilometers see the Phuket Seashell Museum, shown here. Keep going straight until you after 300 meters come to Rawai beach. Follow the big road going right...

...where you will pass this market. Note the yellow sign on the roof. Now you are just about to drive along lovely Rawai Beach on your left. Go on for some hundreds of meters and ...

... near the end of the Rawai Beach road, with the sea on your left hand, you will see these signs. Just go on... |

... until you less than a minute later come to this little bridge. Turn left just after the bridge, like the bus you see is about to do...

...and go straight for several hundreds of meters. On your left you will pass the Rawana Resort. Keep going until the road have a sharp curve left. See the little house in the left of the picture? This is where you soon will have to cross the road - it the same house you see in the next picture also.

Note the mirror rightmost in the picture. Now, if you'd follow the road along the curve you'd soon arrive to Laem Phrom Thep, but instead you cross the road (be careful!) and go down the little street shown here. See the shining little yellow sign? This carries our name. Go on and keep looking to your right...

... until you after about 100 meters see these signs. Bravo! You made it. Go down this Soi (="small street") follow the curve and after 200 meters you will find our sign Franziskaner Stueberl.

B. Coming from the Kata Viewpoint.
With the sea on your right hand you leave the viewpoint and go down the curvy and steep mountain road about one kilometer until you reach a Y-intersection. At this point you follow the road right (there will be signs saying "Leam Phrom Thep" and "Rawai Beach".) After about 200 meters...

... you will see this sign. Turn left here, towards Rawai Beach.You are in for some more curvy road, but suddenly...

... you can get a glimpse of the sea to your left. Go down...

... here. At the intersection you see here, turn right. You now go from picture
5 above. (If you instead follow the road left
you will end on the little bridge mentionend on picture 4 and be going to Rawai Beach - but going the wrong way!)
